Due to Typhoon Ragasa gradually approaching Hong Kong and Macao, Cotai Water Jet will adjust its sailing services between Hong Kong and Macao starting September 23 to cope with possible inclement weather conditions.

Guests who have purchased tickets dated September 23 - 24 may apply for a reschedule or refund within 30 days from the date of the cancelled sailing at the designated Cotai Water Jet ticketing channels.

If you purchased tickets from Cotai Travel, travel agents, or hotels, please contact your agent directly for the refund process. If you purchased from Cotai Water Jet’s official channels (website, mobile APP, or ticketing counters), kindly share your booking details with us at customer@cotaiwaterjet.com, and our customer service department will handle the refund process. Ticket purchased through Cotai Water Jet terminal ticketing offices or Cotai Water Jet Official website can exchange to a new ticket.  2. Ticket redeemed by CotaiTravel, travel agent voucher, hotel and entertainment package or complimentary ticket of Sands Rewards Club may exchange to a new ticket, refund is not applicable.  3. Ticket purchased via travel agents. Exchange should be processed through the travel agent that bookings were originally made. This is restricted by terms and conditions of the agents. Exchange to a new ticket must be done within 7 days (effective from original sailing date). New sailing departure date must be within 45 days (effective from original sailing date). New ticket could only be the same route and same or lower ticket fare as original ticket. Price difference for lower fare ticket will not be refunded. For the exchange procedure, all passengers can exchange tickets at Cotai Water Jet Terminal ticketing office. When Hong Kong Observatory and Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) announce Strong Wind Signal No. 3 is hoisted, Cotai Water Jet may cancel sailings for safety reasons. Passengers affected by this cancellation should follow the procedure same as suspension under Typhoon Signal No. 8 in handling their ferry tickets.

Macao Government Tourism Office partners with Cotai Water Jet to launch the special offer of free ferry from Hong Kong to Macao for international visitors* who arrive in Hong Kong. 
The free offer of one-way ferry tickets to Macao is available from February 1 until July 31, 2024, to encourage international visitors in Hong Kong to extend their trip to Macao. With their valid travel documents along with boarding passes, electronic tickets or transportation receipts which indicate their arrival to Hong Kong within seven (7) days before their intended trip to Macao, international visitors can book ferry tickets for free.
*The offer is not available for those from mainland China, Hong Kong or Taiwan.

Chinese New Year Fireworks Displays will take place on Feb 12, 16 and 24. On these dates, viewers can enjoy an unforgettable 70-minute cruise full of spectacular moments of light and energy while appreciating Macao’s cityscape to start the wonderful Year of the Dragon!

Q: Can I apply for a ticket refund?

A: Tickets are valid only for the route, date and time of sailing stated thereon and are not resellable or cancelable. Subject to Clause 2.3 of the Cotai Water Jet TERMS & CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS, any fare paid shall not be refundable.

Q: Why haven’t I received any confirmation email after booking online?

A: This may happen if your email is set to filter Junk mails. Please check your Spam Filter or Junk Mail Folder just in case the confirmation email got delivered to these folders instead of your inbox. 

For transaction status is 'successful' shown in the booking page, you are advised to present the transaction number and registered credit card for collecting ticket(s) personally at ticket offices which located at terminals. Ticket booked shall be collected not less than 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

For passengers who are heading to Macao SAR, please pay attention to the followings:-
Eligible HK residents are required to re-enrol for the Macao Automated Immigration Clearance Service (“the Service”) after collecting their new smart ID cards so as to continue to use such service. (Re-enrolment is not required for those who have given consents to the Immigration Department for enrolling the Service). Eligible persons can enrol for the Service at the Enrolment Kiosks located at the Hong Kong Macau ferry terminal halls or the other designated locations. Successful enrolee may use the Service after 3 working days upon the completion of enrolment.

According to the entry requirements of the Macao SAR government, a passenger shall be in possession of a passport, a travel document or other document accepted for immigration control which is valid for at least 90 days beyond the period of intended stay in the Macao SAR.

1. Passenger holding the unused ticket with sailing date on or after 4 Feb 2020 can exchange a same class ferry ticketing with sailing date on or before 30 Jun 2023, no refund for the discount ticket.
2. Passenger holding the unused voucher with expire date on or after 4 Feb 2020 can exchange a same class ferry ticketing with sailing date on or before 30 Jun 2023, no refund for the voucher.
3. The presale of ferry ticket is 30days, passenger please visit the designated Cotai Water Jet ticketing office below for the ticketing arrangement.
